Zachary D. Russell is an attorney in the Louisville office of Ward Hocker Thornton & Brown. He attended the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law, where he served as an editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and as a Production Editor on the editorial board for Volume 112. Before law school, Zach attended Appalachian State University and North Carolina State University, where he studied a variety of scientific and engineering disciplines, including chemistry, physics, and materials science.
Before joining WHTB, Zach practiced on the plaintiff side of personal injury law. He now represents clients on the defense side, with a focus on insurance defense, giving him experience from both sides of litigation. His practice includes legal research and writing, discovery, client advocacy, and motion practice.
Zach approaches each case with a commitment to understanding both the legal issues involved and the circumstances facing his clients. He strives to develop a thorough understanding of each matter so that he can provide thoughtful, effective representation and help his clients navigate the litigation process.
